2026 looks to be a very exciting year on the book front after a slow 2025, which I spent writing a lot of what will be coming out this year.
Rocky Start, which is our most popular book since Agnes and the Hitman, is only .99 today as the Kindle Daily Deal.
Arresting Anna is done in draft and we’re rewriting based on what we’re writing forward in Stealing Nadine. I got yelled at for my last prediction on when Arresting Anna will be out, but I expect in the next two months.
I’ve got two new titles coming in the first half of this year.
The first is Slow Fall, the first in a series about the collapse of civilization and survival. I used both my Preparation and Survival Guide and my Area Study Workbook as the background for this new series. It’s different than most novels in this genre because it’s about the actual collapse and how we won’t know it’s happening until it’s probably too late. Personally, the most terrifying survival situation is a slow collapse with billions of people trying to survive without the normal mechanisms of civilization.

The second, Howl: WT Sherman’s Monster Hunters, is one I outlined and wrote quite a number of years ago as part of my Duty, Honor, Country series and is set in the Civil War. However, I’ve now changed the focus to be more about the nature of evil. It starts at Shiloh, moves to the hell on earth of Andersonville prison, and then the rest takes place during the March to the Sea.
I am doing final formatting on the edited version of Rocky Road, a novella, and it will publish before the end of this month.
Exciting times.
Bob
PS: I’ve also got The Complete Guide to Caching available.
