As usual, there are a number of books free today. Chief among them are New York Minute and the first book in the Atlantis series.
I’ve also got pre-orders up for three titles.
Slow Fall the first book in my fictional Green Beret Survival series comes out on the 28th of this month. It’s different than most post-apocalyptic stories in that it takes place at the front end of what most don’t even realize is the collapse of civilization around them. It actually starts with the garbage not being picked up. Perhaps that’s an ode to my father who spent three decades in the New York Sanitation Department. But I think it’s realistic. Most people don’t know the signs until it’s too late. Sadly, I see some of the signs going on right now with a ripple effect that will come due.

You’re Doing It Wrong: Dump The Myths, Misconceptions and Bad Advice You Believe will be out on 23 June. I’ve been touching on a lot of the material in this book in my survival and disasters books. Honestly, I learned that I was laboring under quite a few misconceptions when I took a deeper dive. Ever see those posts on social media about using your headrest to escape a sinking vehicle? Or to change your voicemail if lost? Or use hydrogen peroxide to clean a wound? Or even day to day stuff like a plastic cutting board being more hygienic than wood? Well, there are over 130 entries setting us straight. Including the last entry which will have people still arguing about decades after it was first shown to be correct.
And in June, a prequel novella to the Liz Danger books, Red Rain which shows how Vince Cooper, army Ranger and Raina Still, combat medic, first met in Afghanistan. It’s a novel about respect and friendship and sacrifice.
Have a great weekend!
Bob
